Machstablau will restore and re-use the old stables and coach house building linked to Plas Machynlleth. The stables, often known locally as the Kennels, are a Grade ll listed building that was built in the 1850s.

The project aims to restore the building, keeping its architectural and historical features and to create a 36-bed lodge type accommodation for visitors to the town and the area. The coach house will become a community facility that can be used for activities, workshops, and events.
